NO.1 Rice Noodle Roll

The author's favorite is rice noodle roll. As you can see from the picture, the carefully steamed prawn is covered by the beautiful steamed rice skin and would taste even better with special soy sauce. Other perfect choice of meat for rice noodle roll are minced beef, BBQ pork and plain egg.

NO.2 Dim Sum

All kinds of Dim Sum
There are over a hundred kinds of dim sum in Guangzhou and there's always one of them that becomes your favorite. Popular dim sum include: egg tart, little meat ball with shallot inside, bun that contains sweet pork, prawn and scallop dumplings, etc. When you visit Guangzhou, go to a traditional restaurant, order a bottle of warm tea, and start trying all the dim sum that attracts you!

NO.3 Congee

Congee with white fish and dough stick
Ate too much greasy food and do not really have appetite? Try Guangzhou's famous special food -- congee, it is a rice soup cooked with fish, minced pork and preserved egg with shredded ginger and shallot in it. Just take a small bowl of it and let the mild and refreshing rice soup goes down your stomach and warm up your whole body.
